Fingerlakes - September 2003

We had so much fun on this trip.  We stayed at the Inn at Glenora.  It was our second stay at that hotel and it worked out just fine.  We toured and tasted at about a dozen vineyards,  and visited the gorge at Watkins Glen.  This was Susan's brother's (Brad's) first time there.  He had taken on an appreciation for wine tasting prior to the trip and was looking forward to this excursion.  Needless to say we picked out some good wines.

I can't remember the part name, but these are the falls on the west side of the Cayuga Lake a few minutes north of Ithaca

This is one of many good pictures I got of Natalie during the trip.

What a beautiful day. We had lunch on a terrace at one of the vineyards. Everyone was having a great time. My poor cell phone (inside joke).

As you can see, it was harvest time.

This one of a couple rock hewn tunnels at the gorge in Watkins Glen.

Susan, Natalie and I went into the gorge. Brad, Mom and Dad Wackler stayed in the car. As you can see we were pretty high up.

There's Susie way down there. Natalie and I climbed the steps, our legs were burning. Natalie said her legs didn't work anymore.
